The Southwest Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals (SWMASSP) recently announced Dr. Sam Taylor, principal of OHS, as SWMASSP High School Principal of the Year. Dr. Taylor's recognition comes for excellence in positive leadership while working with staff, parents and community patrons to enhance student success at OHS. Many of the changes he has steered the High School through have led to academic success.  In 2012, OHS set some impressive numbers, finishing in the top 11% in Algebra 1, 7% in English 2, 3% in US/MO Government, and 2% in Biology.
